Micro Fluidic and Gas Instruments

  Micro Fluidic and
                            Gas Instruments

Plastikos & Plastikos Medical have extensive experience molding products that will be used for precision fluid and gas transferring applications, which both require tight tolerances and critical sealing surfaces. These products are often made from high- temperature thermoplastics, including LCP, PEEK, PPS, and other specialty or engineering grade resins.

These applications require high-temperature thermoplastics due to their chemical resistance, dimensional stability, and heat deflection. While these resins tend to be quite expensive, our team has significant experience with reducing costs by optimizing a part’s wall thickness, cycle time, and runner waste.

Customer Success Story

“Plastikos has set the standard that we use for packaging and delivery with other suppliers. Within our instability of demand, Plastikos has maintained a culture of stability. Plastikos, without fail, responds quickly and efficiently to our changing requests. A true partnership.”

– Kim C., Materials Manager

Homecare Devices

We’ve worked with clients to optimize parts for a number of homecare devices, including ventilators and portable oxygen. Each mold we develop is run through an arduous IQ/OQ/PQ process in order to ensure it meets a customer’s specific needs.

Dialysis
Devices created for dialysis must consist of medical-grade resins that offer durability, transparency and rigidity. Our team will work with you to design a lightweight, dimensionally stable part.
Wound & Compression Therapy

Devices can always be improved, which is why Plastikos & Plastikos Medical are often tabbed with handling projects partners have had issues with. Our engineers can clean up part designs to eliminate warp in critical part areas, for example.
