JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates and performs activities to ensure successful startup and processing to complete each customer order with the highest level of quality parts and on-time deliveries to our customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Process Technician I (Set up Tech)
- Monitors production schedule and prepare for upcoming runs (i.e. tools, material changes, etc.).
- Completes all setup, teardown, and changeover practices.
- Communicates in a team environment with other associates to ensure the highest levels of quality and efficiency are met.
- Ensures all checklists and paperwork (electronic and/or hardcopy) are complete with each new startup.
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness and organization on the Production floor.
- Performs other duties as specified by management. Process Technician II
- Successfully performs all responsibilities of a Process Technician I position.
- Communicates with Production Planning to review changes and other suggestions for optimal run conditions.
- Inspects machines and auxiliary equipment to ensure desired operational performance and safety are reached.
- Demonstrates proficient use of advanced equipment and auxiliaries, cameras, eDart, ALS, etc.
- Documents (electronically and/or hardcopy) all adjustments performed related to processing a quality part in accordance to customer’s specifications.
- Completes mold samples, as needed and scheduled. Process Technician III
- Successfully performs all responsibilities of a Process Technician I and II positions.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of processing and machinery capabilities for effective troubleshooting skills to resolve processing obstacles.
- Travel to other Company facilities, as necessary.
- Completes advanced mold samples, as needed and scheduled.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technical training, preferred
- Prior experience or education in injection molding or plastics industry (strongly desired)
- Clearly and effectively communicates in English (verbal and written)
- Communicates effectively with teammates
- Works well independently (self-motivated), as well as in a team environment
- Maintains a positive attitude and strong individual work ethic
- Possesses a strong attention to detail
- Is capable of multi-tasking
- Consistently meets deadlines
- Possesses basic knowledge of shop math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, etc.)
- Displays proven mechanical ability
- Reads and understands blueprints
- Exhibits basic computer skills

- Exhibits strong knowledge of injection molding processing and technical trouble shooting skills
- Makes good decisions when problem solving and independent judgment are required
- Regards safety as a priority
