JOB SUMMARY:
Prepares materials for production and sampling on a timely basis and completes day-to-day operational warehouse tasks.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

- Accurately mixes and dries (if necessary) material for upcoming production runs
- Mixes material colorant and/or re-pelletized material
- Fills dryers with proper material per schedule requirements
- Collects runners, regrinds, and purges from the production floor
- Determines material changes from the schedule and accommodates schedule updates and changes
- Changes materials per the production schedule at the press
- Properly cleans loaders, dryers, grinders, material lines, and hoppers
- Accurately weighs, labels, and scans materials to the proper warehouse location after production runs
- Print material labels
- Properly and safely operates the pelletizer
- Assists Quality Department personnel in preparing packaging for production parts
- Safely performs duties related to forklift operation and scissor lift operation
- Routinely cleans and organizes all material-related work areas and the warehouse
Job Requirements
1. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Clearly and effectively communicates in English (verbal and written)
- Communicates effectively with teammates
- Works well independently (self-motivated), as well as in a team environment
- Maintains a positive attitude and strong individual work ethic
- Possesses a strong attention to detail
- Is very conscientious of material inventory
- Is capable of multitasking
- Consistently meets deadlines
- Possesses basic math skills
- Displays proficiency in the safe operation of forklifts
- Regards, safety as a priority
- Possesses a commitment to housekeeping and maintaining a very clean work environment
- Is willing to work on any of the three shifts, as required (including overtime coverage)
